Become a Monitor

Leading and Learning is seeking detail-oriented individuals to monitor the state of students’ courses. Our Shepherding Program connects students with academic mentors – or Shepherds – who help students build the skills and confidence needed to navigate their education. Monitors help facilitate this work by relaying all important course information to the student and our team.

As a monitor you will act as a core part of the “safety net” we create for students, lowering the chances of academic mishaps by catching potential problems before they become an issue. There are many different reasons for why a student might struggle academically. We believe that by helping to infuse more organization and confidence into each client’s everyday lives, we can help them develop the skills they need to become independent learners.
